Egg Incubation Project
We provide everything you need to enjoy the excitement of hatching chicks at home!
Do you live in a neighborhood that doesn’t allow chickens? Are you a homeschooling family that wants experiential Science education? Or, maybe can’t take on the obligation of having chickens due to a variety of reasons - but want your kids to experience the excitement of hatching eggs and handling baby chicks?
If yes - we have a program for you!
We offer a 5-week chick hatching program where we will deliver to you everything you need to incubate, hatch, and care for baby chicks for their first 1-2 weeks of life. Then, we pick everything up and the chicks continue to grow up on the farm.
Total cost for the 5-week project: $100

Brooder (a container for the chicks after they hatch) + bedding

Educational material to teach kids embryology, what is happening inside the shell each week, how eggs are hatched in nature, care for new chicks, chicken basics - and more!

THE DETAILS
We will deliver the project on the arranged date.
Through the entire 5-week project, we are available to you for any questions you may have.
Once the chicks hatch, you and your family get to play with the chicks, hold them, watch them, and care for them for nearly 2 weeks.
When that time is up, we will then come pick up the equipment and the chicks!
